1. Introduction

Welcome to the Catholic Faith Investor Summit (“CFI Summit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our mission is to promote investment practices that are aligned with Catholic values—faith, stewardship, ethics, and service. This Publication Policy describes the standards, responsibilities, and procedures we adhere to in creating, publishing, and distributing content on our website https://www.catholicfi.com (the “Site”).

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All content published on the Site — articles, blog posts, reports, videos, podcasts, news, promotional materials, event information, interviews, etc.
  • All authors, contributors, staff, editors, and volunteers.
  • All content produced or sourced by us, as well as third-party content we republish or link to.

3. General Principles

3.1 Faith Alignment

Content must be consistent with the teachings and moral tradition of the Catholic Church. We respect and affirm Church doctrine in our discussions of ethics, social teaching, stewardship, human dignity, justice, and related issues.

3.2 Accuracy & Truthfulness

We are committed to accuracy. All factual claims must be supported by reliable sources. When opinion or interpretation is given, it should be clearly identified as such.

3.3 Integrity & Transparency

  • Sources & Citations: Authors should cite sources for facts, statistics, quotations, and Church documents (e.g., Catechism, Papal encyclicals, Vatican statements, etc.).
  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or institutional interest in the subject matter (e.g., investment products, financial services, etc.).
  • Attribution: Quotes, images, or multimedia not created in-house should be properly attributed and used under appropriate license.

3.4 Respectful Tone & Civility

We aim for respectful, charitable discourse. We do not allow hate speech, harassment, defamation, or content that denigrates persons or groups on the basis of religion, race, gender, ethnicity, or other protected characteristics.

3.5 Legal & Ethical Compliance

  • Content must comply with all applicable laws (copyright, data protection, privacy, financial regulation, etc.).
  • We do not publish dishonest, misleading, or fraudulent content (for example in financial advice or representation of endorsements).
  • Investment advice must comply with relevant regulation or include disclaimers (see Section 6).

4. Investment-Related Content

Because we deal with finance/investment topics, additional standards apply:

  • Disclaimers: Any content that could be interpreted as financial, legal, or tax advice must include a clear disclaimer saying it is for informational purposes only, and that readers should seek professional advice.
  • No Guarantee of Outcomes: We do not guarantee financial returns or promise that any investment strategy will result in profit.
  • Risk Disclosure: Content about investments should discuss risks openly and fairly.
  • Balanced Presentation: If discussing a financial product or service, we should present both benefits and potential drawbacks (fees, risks, etc.).
  • Endorsements & Sponsorships: If sponsored content or paid promotions are present, they must be clearly labeled. Authors or content may not endorse products in which they hold undisclosed financial interest, unless disclosed.

5. Editorial Review & Correction Policy

  • All content is subject to editorial review for faith alignment, factual accuracy, clarity, and conformity with this policy.
  • If we discover an error in published content, we will correct it promptly, with a note indicating what was corrected and when.

  • The Site does not provide personalized financial, legal, or tax advice.
  • Views expressed by authors or guests are their own, unless explicitly stated to represent CFI Summit.
  • Participation in any investment opportunity discussed is at your own risk.

7. Copyright & Intellectual Property

  • All content created by CFI Summit is protected by copyright. Reproduction or reuse (text, images, videos) requires written permission, unless explicitly licensed otherwise (e.g. Creative Commons).

  • Advertising must be clearly distinguished from editorial content.

  • The integrity of editorial judgment must not be compromised by commercial interests.

10. Community Engagement & Comments

  • If we offer comments, forums, or social media interaction, participants must abide by civility, not post spam, libel, hate speech, or inappropriate content.
  • We reserve the right to remove or revise comments/posts that violate policy or law.

11. Enforcement
